Most commonly used anodic coating. Best coating on aluminum for
dyeing. Can be dyed any color or shade, which will vary depending
on the alloy used. The aluminum oxide film will improve corrosion
resistance, increase surface hardness and impart a nonconductive
characteristic to the aluminum surface.

MIL-C-5541 |
Clear or yellow coating on aluminum. A corrosion preventative
film used where low electrical resistance is required or to
improve paint adhesion.
